Nancy Tom was born in Bloomington, Indiana, and raised in the small town of Centerville, where her love of music began early with piano and flute. A lifelong musician, she attended Interlochen National Music Camp and later performed as a flautist with the Duluth Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Community Orchestra. After pausing her college education to support her husband, David, and raise their family, Nancy returned to school, earning her bachelor’s degree and an MBA. Her professional career included leadership roles in higher education administration at Xavier University, Thunderbird School of Global Management, Midwestern University, and Arizona State University.
Nancy and David have three children and have been blessed with grandchildren and great-grandchildren across the country. They moved to Arizona in the mid-1990s to be closer to family and have lived in Apache Junction since 2002. Retiring in 2011, Nancy has enjoyed watching her grandchildren grow, living alongside family, and traveling extensively with David in their motorhome. Through every season, Nancy and David remain deeply grateful for God’s blessings, the relationships formed along the way, and the journey they continue to share.
